Refunds and Returns
All our products are handmade by artisans or communities. To that end, the pieces are a creation of one-of-a-kind pieces with no two being exactly alike. We are sure as a handmade products reseller and connoisseur, you understand that there are slight variations in the products’ color, size and shape vis a vis what appears on the screen or display medium. These minor variations are actually the real beauty and uniqueness of the handmade products. Just on account of the above, the product would not be rendered as damaged, irregular or defective.
We offer free returns or refunds in the following cases:
Shipping Damages: In most cases, the shipment is packed by our specialised packing team since we know artisans and communities donot have the necessary wherewithal to undertake break-free packaging. Moreover, having shipped 70000 plus orders across 30 countries we have gained a faily good expertise in understanding the kind of packing a product requires.
Still if you receive any product that was damaged in shipping, please report back to us within Seven (7) days of receiving the order. Please email us at info@indiameetsindia.com with video or images of the shipment box while unboxing, and keep us copied on all correspondence so that we can ensure a speedy resolution.
Quality issues, or missing items: We undertake periodic quality check of every product during the course of production and then finally again at our shipping centre by our specialised quality control team. Just to ensure you get the product you have seen and paid for. In fact, we also provide sampling service, where you get to see an actual sample before the final consignment. Despite all of above, if there is a situation where you are not satisfied, and wish to return the items, please report the matter to India Meets India team Customer Care team within Seven (7) days of receipt of the order. Please email us at info@indiameetsindia.com with details about the product, and photos of the issue.
Important: In case we find the products truly defective, we would ask you to return the product, India Meets India will refund the cost of return shipping. However the original shipping costs to your store are non-refundable.
How can I initiate a return?
In the rare event you do experience issues regarding damages, shipping errors or quality concerns, please contact the Customer Care team at info@indiameetsindia.com and allow us to address your concerns and ensure you’re pleased with your experience with our products.
Free Sampling Service
We offer 3 free sampling services to all our premium category subscribers. Basic and Advanced level subscribers may enjoy the benefit of this service at a very nominal cost.
In any case, the cost of items you’re returning will be refunded directly to your original payment method at the time the return items are delivered to our warehouse by the carrier. Please allow 7-10 business days for the refund to show up on your payment method.
Important: Return shipping costs are covered by India Meets India, but the original shipping costs and import fees to your store are non-refundable.
